The Journey of Seven is a group of seven women who desire to live their lives authentically and to support each other in achieving their goals in life.
Deb, Dianne, Donna C., Donna H., Margie, Peggie and Susan.
Donna, Very blunt and to the point. I like it. I think we all need to take personal responsibility for where we are in life and stop blaming everything else. We alone have the power to change what we don't like, we just have to get over the fear and do it!
Oh yes I agree. This also goes for the good things that happen in life as well as the bad. I think a lot of people need to read this and really understand what it says and means. Maria
Nice one Donna, totally agree. I think making the right choice is sometimes difficult out of the fear that Peggie references. But it does come down to that...and once the first difficult choice is made, the rest will be that much easier. And on many occasions we think our good fortune is based on luck...but that, too, came from a choice we made...either recently or so far in the past we've forgotten we made it. Susan
I found it very eye opening to realize this years ago. It's very true, and when I thought about it back then, after, and now, it's hard to point my finger towards myself instead and say 'hey, I have to take responsibility for my own choices that I can change'. Life is hard. There are things that are hard to forget and forgive. To forgive is huge. That's what I try to do more of. Forgive and move on. No one is immune to being forgiven. I slip, still blame the past and others, and have to reel myself in. It's hard. Baby steps. Deb
